

A certified Property Watchers inspector examines the house inside and out and reports on its conditon, needed repairs, and recommended maintenance.
Exterior
The Property Watchers inspector --
- Determines the type and general condition of the siding, trim, windows and doors
- Examines the grading of the soil at the areas of contact with the house
- Determines the type and condition of the roof coverings, flashings, and projections (as viewed from grade only).
Interior
The Property Watchers inspector --
- Visually inspects the readily accessible areas of the foundation and framing -- the structure
- Visually inspects the heating and air conditioning equipment to determine the type and general condition
- Inspects readily accessible water, drain and vent pipes to determine the general condition of the plumbing
- Visually inspects readily accessible electric lines and unopened panels to determine the general condition and approximate capacity of the incoming electrical service.
After the inspection, a report is issued to the home buyer or seller.
